PEORIA, Ill. — Students at Bradley University helped remember the victims of 9/11 with some good deeds.
The Jewish Bradley Chabad Student Group hosted the “Twin Towers of Love”. Students and staff members were asked to do a good deed in memory of a 9/11 victim.
The good deeds were then put up on a replica of the twin towers for everyone on campus to see.
Organizers said it is important that the day be honored in a positive way.
"Days like today actually bring us back and realize the great things we have in life and appreciate what we have and in turn do something special with that,” said Rabbi Eli Langsam, Twin Towers of Love Organizer.
About 150 students and staff members took part in the good deeds memorial.
