Dear Rabbi,
The Nazi’s had already begun before I was born in 1935 Berlin. Here I am now after completing the JLI Course: “BEYOND NEVER AGAIN” attempting to articulate the impact it had on me. I found that succinctly expressing myself difficult, and for that, I apologize. First, the content, structure, organization, and clear focus of the material was brilliant! Secondly, the quality of the instruction and presentation was outstanding. In addition, the encouragement of student participation and was cathartic and universally felt. Lastly, the instructor, a stranger to me, stirred within me a newfound passion for my Jewish heritage, and a sincere feeling of appreciation for my freedom in this country as a Jew.
